The pictures of the kids are so cute, Katie! We really missed you guys for Thanksgiving. We managed to make a complete Thanksgiving feast here in Turkmenistan! We had a Turkey, pies (from scratch!), mashed potatoes, stuffing, and steamed beats and carrots. Several Turkmen friends joined us and I think the enjoyed most of it. One of the other Peace Corps Volunteers even brought a can of cranberry sauce from the States! It wasn't the same as being with all of you, but we thought of you. A Christmas package is on the way for your family from Turkmenistan. We sent it to Aunt Barbaras because we knew Mom would be there and we weren't sure where you would be for Christmas. We hope it gets there in time:^). Much love, Rebekah
Family, chickens, gardening, and homesteading are a few of my favorite things. Follow me and my family's daily lives through my charismatic, witty and personal writing venue. After a few weeks, you'll wish you were a part of The Britten Roost.
Blessings,
KJ, a.k.a. "The Pajama Farmer"
